As anyone who has been following the ukraine crisis knows that the people in novorossiya {formerly east ukraine} were given a very bleak selection of choices in early 2014 .
Accept the new imposed government that stated that there would be nothing but misery and they would be stripped of all civil rights,social protections,and they would be banned from speaking their native language {russian} The other option given was to pack their bags and go to russia.
The citizens in the east decided that they would not leave ukraine and held an actual democratic vote to create their own state within ukraine for this they paid a heavy price in human lives in odessa and other cities when maidan thugs shot and murdered the people in what would be called novorossiya.
Citizens in now novorossiya believing that they would now be in charge of their own destiny were in for quite a shock when the new kiev government sent the military to crush any dissenters. After forming their own defense forces {former ukrainian soldiers} the cities in the east were obliterated with months of artillery fire and a food supply blockage by kiev has left food and medical supplies streched to breaking point which left a shorfall in medical supplies for the volunteer service who are defending the cities.
Which brings me to this gofundme page these men and women are not imposing their will on the rest of ukraine but simply defending their cities and families but they need a little help .That help is vital medical supplies such as guaze,bandages,tourniquets,syringes,sterile gloves etc. too many of these men and women have died because of the severe lack of even the most basic medical kit they also need additional food
